Copitrak Launch New European Embedded Cost Recovery Application for Canon's MFP Devices using MEAP Technology

Copitrak today announced the launch of Europe's first embedded cost recovery application for Canon's multifunction devices. The Copitrak MEAP application has passed all of Canon's verification tests and is openly available to any law firm wishing to take advantage of this latest embedded technology.
The Copitrak eClipse cost recovery application allows users to enter and search for client related information directly at the control panel of a Canon device equipped with MEAP technology, providing functionally rich cost capture and analysis information which is, in turn, fed directly through to the billing system.
"One of the hot subjects in the legal sector at present is the supply of embedded solutions from cost recovery vendors. MEAP is a Canon developed JAVA based application software platform embedded in all Canon's networked iR devices. MEAP provides the iR device with extensive capabilities to add or remove additional application functionality, either at point of device purchase or at a later stage, making all MEAP enabled products future proofed in terms of application development. It also provides opportunities to develop customised software applications for bespoke customer requirements.
